Pear and leek soup

This is a great soup that combines sweet, savoury and freshness. You can eat it as an appetizer or as a light dinner.


Portions: 6


3 tbsp olive oil

1 onion, minced

1 celery branch, chopped

2 (4 cups) leeks, sliced

2 potatoes, peeled and diced

1 liter Tata Soupe's miso broth

1 bay leaf

3 ripe pears, peeled and diced

Salt and pepper to taste


Buy miso broth


  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat and sauté onion, celery, leeks and potatoes until golden brown.
  2. Add miso broth and bay leaf, lower heat, cover and simmer until vegetables are tender (about 20 minutes).
  3. Add the pears and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
  4. Purée the soup using a blender until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
